Atelier des Lumieres was originally a foundry in 1835 which was operated by the
Plichon Brothers. During the economic crisis of 1929, the “Fonderie du Chemin-Vert” closed it’s doors and was
reopened in 2018 after its purchase by Culturespaces. With the goal of opening a digital art center, Atelier des
Lumieres was born with the goal of creating a immersive exhibitions to celebrate the greatest artists in the
history of art as well as the exploration of more contemporary creations.
